Senior iOS Engineer

About the role

Hinge is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Growth product group in New York. You will build features that drive user onboarding, activation, and long-term retention to help more people find meaningful relationships.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Design and build new features that improve the iOS user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, data scientists, and backend engineers to run experiments and ship updates.
• Maintain and improve the application architecture to ensure it remains scalable and efficient.
• Monitor production performance, diagnose crashes, and resolve technical issues.
• Lead team initiatives and promote engineering standards to improve overall output.
• Stay updated on Apple platform changes to integrate new capabilities into the app.

Requirements

• Deep proficiency in Swift and UIKit.
• Experience with client-side architecture patterns such as VIPER, MVVM, or MVP.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining complex, feature-rich mobile applications.
• Background in troubleshooting and supporting apps in a production environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex technical projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI and Swift Concurrency.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools including Github Actions, CircleCI, Fastlane, and TestFlight.
• Practical experience implementing in-app purchases.
