About the role
This position is responsible for shaping and expanding the engineering systems and infrastructure that support our pharmacy fulfillment operations. The leader will oversee the entire engineering lifecycle, from facility design and cleanroom environments to automation and material movement. This role is crucial for enabling our manufacturing and fulfillment growth.

What you'll do
Develop and implement the company's engineering strategy for compounding, pharmacy, and fulfillment.
Design and manage the expansion of regulated manufacturing and pharmacy facilities, including cleanrooms and controlled environments.
Oversee significant capital investment plans, potentially exceeding $100 million, for facilities, automation, and equipment.
Ensure all engineering designs and systems comply with cGMP, FDA, Board of Pharmacy, and USP regulations.
Drive improvements in throughput, reliability, and cost through system design and data-informed decisions.
Build and lead a diverse engineering and facilities team across multiple locations.
Requirements
Possess over 12 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical services.
Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering organizations and managing teams across various sites.
Significant experience with facilities and infrastructure, including cleanrooms, HVAC, electrical systems, and equipment installation.
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Experience managing large capital projects, including facility construction and automation investments.
Solid understanding of GMP, USP, quality systems, and validation processes.
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as pharmaceutical, medical devices, or biotechnology.
Proven ability to manage external engineering firms, contractors, and vendors.
Track record of enhancing operational performance through engineering solutions.
Strong executive communication and cross-functional influence skills.
Nice to have
Direct experience with sterile manufacturing, aseptic processing, or pharmacy compounding operations.
Experience designing, commissioning, or operating cleanrooms and regulated facility systems.
Familiarity with automation, robotics, and high-throughput manufacturing or fulfillment systems.
Lean Six Sigma or related continuous improvement certification.
