About the role
Join our People Operations team as a Senior Technical Sourcer to help expand our Engineering and Product Management departments. This role focuses on building talent pipelines for key technical positions, from individual contributors to leadership roles. You will play a direct part in shaping how millions access healthcare.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the initial candidate pipeline for Engineering and Product Management roles, from Senior ICs to Director-level leaders.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to define role needs, evaluate candidate profiles, and streamline the hiring process.
- Actively identify and engage passive candidates using various sourcing methods like Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical forums, and open-source communities.
- Maintain talent maps and competitive intelligence, sharing market insights on skills and target companies with the hiring team.
- Analyze sourcing funnel conversion rates to identify improvements and enhance pipeline quality.
- Utilize large language models (LLMs) such as Claude to automate tasks, personalize outreach, and optimize sourcing workflows.
- Implement structured outbound campaigns, monitor response rates, and adjust strategies to improve hiring speed and quality.
Requirements
- 8 or more years of technical sourcing experience, either in-house or combined with agency work, for Engineering and Product Management roles.
- At least 2 years of experience sourcing senior leaders (Senior Manager through Director+).
- Demonstrated success in sourcing for various Engineering disciplines (full stack, backend, platform) and Product Management.
- Experience developing top-of-funnel strategies and research methods to find untapped talent pools.
- Ability to use metrics and insights to refine strategies and communicate data-driven narratives.
- Expertise in managing candidate pipelines from initial identification through long-term engagement.
- Experience with LLMs (e.g., Claude) for automation, personalized outreach, and research, including prompt building and integrating AI tools.
- Proficiency with sourcing and recruiting platforms like Ashby, LinkedIn, GitHub, and Gem.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a collaborative and humble approach.
