About the role
This position will focus on our privacy initiatives and the development of our AI governance program. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance and establish responsible practices.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Support the ongoing operation and enhancement of the company's privacy program, working with Legal, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Assist in managing compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and healthcare privacy laws, including maintaining documentation and overseeing risk assessments.
- Conduct initial evaluations of privacy risks for new projects and help teams address these concerns.
- Contribute to the privacy aspects of the vendor review process, including developing questionnaires and supporting contract negotiations.
- Help establish and manage the AI governance program, creating processes and documentation for responsible AI use.
- Build and maintain an inventory of AI systems and their applications, managing intake as new uses emerge.
- Track changes in AI regulations globally and adapt program requirements accordingly.
- Lead the implementation of strategic legal projects that involve cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Coordinate with Legal and Public Policy teams to stay informed about new privacy and AI legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 6 years of experience in legal project or program management, with a concentration in privacy or AI governance.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders and guide cross-functional teams from project start to completion.
- Demonstrated skill in organizing and managing multiple, potentially conflicting, priorities.
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational capabilities.
- A track record of effectively solving problems and achieving operational outcomes.
- Experience working independently across different teams.
