This position will shape how hims-and-hers understands and optimizes its product performance and marketing spend. You will lead a team of analysts supporting product and marketing departments, collaborating with leadership to translate data into actionable business strategies. The role focuses on experimentation, attribution, and customer retention.

What you'll do
Provide analytical guidance to General Managers, Product VPs, and Marketing leadership to inform strategic decisions and roadmaps.
Present data-driven insights to executive teams, translating complex findings into clear, impactful narratives.
Analyze subscription lifecycle metrics, including cohort behavior, churn drivers, and customer segmentation for retention efforts.
Define key performance indicators and monitoring frameworks for membership and prescription services.
Design and execute experiments to uncover the root causes of customer churn and retention, informing product and marketing interventions.
Oversee the transition to incrementality measurement in marketing analytics, including MMM validation and test design.
Assess the efficiency of various paid media channels, quantifying cross-category impacts and identifying discrepancies in measurement.
Develop and mentor a team of analysts, establishing standards for analytical rigor and quality.
Collaborate with engineering teams on data model requirements and customer data structures.
Drive adoption of BI and experimentation tools across product and marketing teams.
Champion the use of causal inference and actionable insights over descriptive reporting.
Manage team resources and priorities to address urgent analytical needs.
Requirements
A minimum of 12 years of experience in analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
A Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Demonstrated experience leading analytics teams within a fast-paced consumer product environment, preferably in subscription or direct-to-consumer businesses.
Proficiency in experimental design, A/B testing, holdout methodologies, and causal inference techniques.
Substantial experience with Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing, including reconciling differing model outputs.
Strong understanding of retention and subscription analytics, including cohort analysis, churn decomposition, and LTV modeling.
Expert-level SQL skills and experience with large-scale data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
Proficiency with BI and experimentation platforms like Looker or GrowthBook.
Proven ability to communicate complex analytical results to non-technical executive audiences.
Excellent organizational skills, balancing long-term projects with the need to respond to immediate requests.
Nice to have
Experience in telehealth, pharmaceutical, or health subscription business models.
Familiarity with specific therapeutics, clinical pathways, or prescription fulfillment processes.
Experience with AI-driven decisioning or personalization platforms.
Experience using Python or R for statistical modeling.
Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt or workflow orchestrators like Airflow.
Exposure to price testing, elasticity modeling, or subscription economics research.
