Learning Area Manager at hims-and-hers.
About the role
This position oversees all night shift training operations within the Dispense and Fulfillment, Non Sterile Compounding, and Sterile Compounding departments. You will serve as the primary night shift lead for the learning team, ensuring that training plans, compliance, and labor tracking are executed effectively.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Act as the main point of contact for the night shift learning team and participate in daily operational meetings.
- Manage and mentor night shift Learning Leads to improve performance and provide consistent feedback.
- Create and manage training schedules two weeks in advance while coordinating with operations to meet site requirements.
- Track labor hours and generate weekly LMS reports to maintain compliance and accountability.
- Present Weekly Business Review metrics and training updates to site leadership, Finance, and S&OP teams.
- Oversee the training request intake process to ensure timely execution across night operations.
- Facilitate onboarding, SOP, compliance, and remediation training sessions.
- Maintain precise training documentation to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Learning Operations Manager to align training strategies across day and night shifts.
- Assist with cross-shift projects and support day shift operations as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Education, Business, Learning and Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Active CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and development within a regulated setting.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compounding operations within a 503a, 503b, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and USP standards regarding training and compliance.
- Experience leading and developing teams across multiple operational areas.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and report on metrics effectively.
- Proficiency with LMS platforms for administrative and reporting tasks.

- Schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00pm to 12:00am.
