About the role
Heron Power develops advanced power electronics for modern electrical grids, focusing on converters for large-scale renewable energy, storage, and data centers. This role supports the Business Development team in forming alliances with major energy and data center developers. You will contribute to active commercial projects by conducting research and managing pipelines.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Research and create profiles for target accounts in solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and data center sectors.
- Maintain and enhance the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring pipeline data is current.
- Monitor market trends and synthesize findings into useful insights.
- Prepare briefings, meeting materials, and follow-up communications for accounts.
- Assist in adapting technical content for customer-facing materials.
Requirements
- Demonstrated background or interest in inverter-based resources, data centers, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, or the energy sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to work with engineering, operations, and executive teams.
- Proactive and action-oriented, comfortable building initiatives from the ground up in a dynamic, undefined startup setting.
- Proven ability to solve problems and exceptional attention to detail.
- Quick learner who can achieve goals with minimal guidance, utilizing available tools and resources.
- Highly attentive to details, noticing small errors.
- Willingness to perform less glamorous tasks, understanding their importance to the overall objective.
- Analytical mindset, proficient with Excel and pivot tables.
Nice to have
- Previous experience selling inverters, power electronics, or new energy hardware for initial deployments.
- Knowledge of utility-scale project development, procurement, and commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with medium-voltage systems and their applications in renewable energy or data centers.
