Senior Product Manager, Data and Analytics

About the role

Heartbeat Health is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Data and Analytics team. You will be instrumental in maximizing the value derived from our extensive data streams, which support our remote cardiology services. Your work will ensure that our data deliverables, including dashboards, pipelines, and reports, contribute significantly to clinical, operational, and business objectives as the company expands.

What you'll do

• Guide the iterative delivery of impactful data and analytics solutions by collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders, employing agile methodologies focused on outcomes.
• Proactively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to understand, clarify, and prioritize their data requirements.
• Translate complex business questions and stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements and well-defined analytical outputs.
• Oversee the development, launch, and refinement of analytics deliverables through close collaboration with data and engineering teams, utilizing short learning cycles.
• Effectively manage competing priorities, communicate progress, set stakeholder expectations, and adapt quickly based on feedback.
• Define and research key metrics and formulas to help Heartbeat and its partners measure success across clinical, operational, and financial areas.
• Contribute directly by using SQL to develop dashboards, troubleshoot data pipelines, and ensure the accuracy of analytical work.
• Monitor critical data pipelines, respond promptly to any disruptions, and maintain the integrity and reliability of our data.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years in product management, analytics, or data-centric roles.
• Demonstrated success in launching data products or analytics solutions within a dynamic, agile setting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
• Proficiency in SQL at an intermediate or advanced level, with a comfort for detailed data analysis.
• Experience in gathering requirements, formulating problem statements, and defining testable acceptance criteria.
• A drive to solve real-world problems through iterative development rather than simply completing projects.
• Familiarity with relational databases, data pipeline tools, and dashboarding platforms such as Snowflake, Looker, Sigma, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Experience with Python, specifically using pandas for data analysis.
