Developer Relations

About the role

This position focuses on expanding the use of the Agent API within the developer community. You will serve as a bridge between external developers and internal product teams, fostering engagement and improving the developer experience. This role combines elements of web development, education, technical marketing, and user experience.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Keep the technical community engaged on platforms like Discord, answer questions, and collect product feedback.
• Ensure API documentation is clear, integration guides are current, and code samples are functional, collaborating with the Product team.
• Create high-quality technical demonstrations and DevRel programs for enterprise clients, simplifying product understanding and integration.
• Gather user feedback, identify pain points, and communicate needs and use cases to product and engineering teams to shape the roadmap.
• Conduct developer interviews, develop user personas, and share insights with the Product Marketing Manager.
• Organize and host hackathons and meetups, and represent hcompany at external developer events.
• Contribute to product launches from a developer perspective and assist with competitive analysis.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or Growth/Community roles within a technical product environment (API, SDK, developer tools platform).
• Ability to read and write integration examples in Python or JavaScript; experience with agent or orchestration frameworks is a plus.
• Practical experience managing technical communities on platforms like Discord or forums, and public speaking at conferences or meetups.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.
• Genuine interest in agentic AI, computer use, and autonomous agents.
• Comfortable in an early-stage company setting, demonstrating strong initiative and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an Engineer.
• Prior experience in a DevRel role.
• Experience building or actively participating in a developer community.
• Ability to independently find product information, such as on GitHub.
• A builder mindset, coding and using AI for development.
• Fluency with developer tools and channels including Discord, Cursor, Claude Code, MCP, Hermes, Reddit, GitHub community, and X.
• Strong understanding of developer communication styles and tone of voice.
• French language skills are a plus.

Practical notes

• This is a foundational role focused on developer distribution for a rapidly growing product, offering significant ownership.
• The team is small and collaborative, working closely with Product and Research teams.
• Based in Paris, with opportunities to collaborate with teams in London and across Europe.
• The hiring process includes a first interview, an interview with an engineer plus a use case, a Team Lead interview, and a final interview.
