Software Developer

About the role

HBPad is looking for a software developer to join our engineering division to design, debug, and build applications. You will work within our current architecture to implement new features while occasionally proposing structural improvements.

• Develop and maintain software applications based on design specifications.
• Address moderately complex technical challenges with support from senior staff.
• Mentor other developers to foster team growth and technical excellence.
• Lead discussions regarding business-critical designs using strong technical judgment.
• Collaborate with the team to adapt to shifting project requirements.

Requirements

• BS degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented language such as Java, C++, C#, or Go.
• Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithm design, and object-oriented design.
• Proven track record of building scalable, highly-available distributed services.
• Experience applying microservice design patterns.
• Ability to demonstrate behaviors aligned with OCI values.
• Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership over your work.
