About the role

HartleyCo is building an operating system designed to automate manual tasks for manufacturers and distributors. You will join as a core member of the team to transform fragmented workflows involving ERP systems, pricing, and freight into automated processes.

What you'll do

• Develop full-stack applications that integrate AI into industrial operations.
• Collaborate directly with the founders and end users to define and build product features.
• Manage the entire software lifecycle from initial discovery to production deployment.
• Architect systems that move beyond simple dashboards to replace manual data entry and spreadsheet reliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of professional software engineering experience, though high-potential early-career candidates are welcome to apply.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and modern frontend frameworks like React.
• Proven ability to build and launch products from the ground up.
• Strong product intuition and the ability to translate complex operational needs into technical solutions.

Nice to have

• Practical experience deploying LLMs, AI agents, or automated workflow systems.
• Background in logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or ERP software development.
