VitalLink — Emergency Blood Matching Platform
An emergency blood-donor matching platform for India, connecting patients with nearby compatible donors in real time to reduce delays during critical shortages, particularly in blood-desert regions.

Responsibilities:
-Designed and built the FastAPI backend, including ML-based donor-patient matching logic.
-Implemented real-time notifications and live status updates using Socket.IO.
-Integrated Firebase Authentication for secure donor and patient login flows.
-Integrated Google Places API for location-based donor discovery and distance calculation.
-Built and scaffolded two separate React Native (Expo) mobile apps — one for donors and one for patients.
