About the role
Harrison Clarke is hiring for a seed-stage, venture-backed startup in Palo Alto focused on enterprise-grade AI agents. You will move beyond simple chatbots to build systems that automate complex, multi-step business processes across platforms like SAP, Salesforce, and Workday.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create multi-step agents capable of using external tools
- Build and maintain RAG pipelines and memory architecture
- Design loops for planning, execution, and verification
- Establish safety guardrails for enterprise deployments
- Improve inference speed and reduce latency
- Manage production deployments on cloud infrastructure
Requirements
- Proven background in shipping LLM-based systems to production
- Hands-on experience with RAG, vector databases, and embeddings
- Proficiency in Python and cloud-based deployment
- Experience with API orchestration, tool-calling, and reasoning workflows
- Ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced startup environment
Nice to have
