Principal Full Stack Engineer at Harnham.
About the role
Harnham is seeking a lead-level engineer to drive the development of AI-integrated products for a professional user base. You will take full ownership of features from initial design through to final deployment in a hands-on capacity.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Construct high-performance interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Build backend services and APIs utilizing Python and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Implement AI-driven functionality such as conversational interfaces, automated summarization, intelligent search, and recommendation engines.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to simplify complex user workflows.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of product features, including architectural planning, coding, and post-launch iteration.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with frontend architecture using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Demonstrated ability to develop production-grade backend APIs and services in Python.
- Practical experience embedding LLMs or other AI workflows into consumer-facing applications.
- Background in building and scaling applications within AWS or comparable cloud environments.
- A product-focused mindset with a history of taking full ownership of technical projects.

Practical notes
