About the role
This position leads product marketing for Handshake AI's frontier lab business. You will bridge the gap between technical research, product development, sales efforts, and the market. Your work will involve translating complex technical information into clear messaging for researchers and lab leaders.

What you'll do
- Develop comprehensive positioning, messaging, and competitive strategies for Handshake AI's frontier lab business, ensuring alignment with Handshake's overall career network narrative.
- Collaborate with the Handshake AI research team to transform technical findings into market-ready content, enhancing Handshake AI's standing within the research and AI communities.
- Act as the primary product marketing contact and decision-maker for all lab-facing communications, including value propositions, proof points, pricing narratives, and objection handling.
- Create and maintain sales enablement resources such as playbooks, talk tracks, competitive summaries, and pitch materials, refining them based on direct feedback from the sales team.
- Partner with Handshake AI Product and Sales leadership to shape long-term product and go-to-market strategies, converting customer, competitive, and market insights into executive recommendations.
- Work with event marketing to translate Handshake AI's positioning into engaging in-person and virtual experiences, managing messaging for executive dinners, field events, and conference activities.
Requirements
- 6 or more years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or a related B2B marketing field.
- Ability to operate effectively in undefined situations, making progress without complete information and prioritizing tasks.
- Demonstrated capacity to influence individuals at all organizational levels, including executives.
- Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating complex launches involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience creating sales enablement content, including competitive positioning and technical demonstration materials.
- A history of building programs from the ground up, comfortable with initial development, taking on various responsibilities, and scaling based on data.

This is an on-site role in San Francisco.
