Kazeem Hakeem

Contributed to open-source projects on Stellar and Starknet, writing production-quality Rust and Cairo code across multiple codebases — directly covering these chains (Stellar, EVM, Starknet). Demonstrated ability to rapidly onboard to unfamiliar repositories and deliver protocol-level improvements in a fully remote, async setting.

Project Fossil: Built trustless proof mechanisms enabling L2 contracts to verify L1 Ethereum contract state and storage, involving deep EVM smart contract development and multi-chain integration. Yokai Security Auditor: Developed an AI-powered pipeline that automatically detects vulnerabilities in Cairo repositories and raises PRs for remediation — a concrete example of using AI coding assistants to accelerate smart contract security and review workflows, as expected in this role.

Technologies: Cairo, Solidity.

Built machine learning models for financial market prediction and trading signal generation using Python — directly applicable to Franklin Templeton's asset management and capital markets context.

Delivered an ML forecasting model in a globally distributed, async-first remote team, demonstrating the collaborative working style this role requires.

Produced business intelligence reports using Python, MySQL, and Power BI; partnered with departmental managers to define data requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
