About the role
Join the Product GPT team at J.P. Morgan to build and refine AI-driven tools that transform how internal teams develop products. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve workflows and drive the adoption of new technology across the product lifecycle.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Partner with engineers, designers, and researchers to move features from initial discovery through to release.
- Translate strategic goals and user feedback into actionable epics, user stories, and requirements.
- Manage backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile delivery tasks.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, feature validation, and release readiness reviews.
- Analyze product metrics and stakeholder feedback to track adoption and identify areas for improvement.
- Work with technology teams to understand system dependencies, integrations, and implementation tradeoffs.
- Define and report on KPIs and OKRs to ensure product success.
- Assess AI-generated outputs to maintain high standards for quality and user value.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Analysis, Technology Delivery, or User Experience.
- Proven ability to create product artifacts like user stories, process flows, and requirements.
- Strong understanding of the Product Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience using data and customer insights to guide decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI-enabled products, machine learning, or intelligent automation.
- Familiarity with Large Language Models, Generative AI, agentic workflows, or human-in-the-loop systems.
- Practical experience with tools like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Technical knowledge of APIs, data flows, and modern software practices such as Test Driven Development or Spec Driven Development.
- Background in quality assurance or release validation within financial services or large enterprise settings.
