Fraud AI / Data Senior Consultant at Guidehouse.
About the role
Guidehouse is seeking a consultant to lead specialized workstreams focused on AI and data solutions within the financial crime sector. You will bridge the gap between technical implementation and client business goals while mentoring junior staff.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Architect and execute AI and data solutions from initial design through production deployment.
- Build and refine fraud and financial crime detection logic using various programming languages.
- Create and improve machine learning models and data workflows.
- Manage data engineering tasks, including cloud architecture and ETL pipeline development.
- Collaborate with clients to identify AI opportunities and present findings to executive leadership.
- Oversee project deliverables and provide technical guidance to C2 consultants.
- Maintain compliance with security, governance, and responsible AI protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in data science, analytics, AI, or engineering.
- US Citizenship and residency in the United States.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust clearance.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with strong data modeling skills.
- Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, Parquet, CSV, and TXT.
- Practical experience in developing and validating machine learning models at scale.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Competence in data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Background in applying AI to fraud, waste, abuse, or financial crime compliance.
- Ability to travel 25 to 50 percent of the time if not based in the DMV area.
Nice to have
- Experience with MLOps and production model deployment.
- Familiarity with AI platforms such as Databricks, Palantir, Vertex AI, or SageMaker.
- Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting role.
- Knowledge of financial crime tools like Oracle Mantas, Actimize, Fircosoft, LexisNexis Bridger, World-Check, Dow Jones, Chainalysis, Elliptic, or TRM Labs.
- Experience working with Federal Agencies.
- Experience with LexisNexis product API integrations.
- Master's degree.

Practical notes
- Salary range: $113,000 to $188,000 annually.
