This position focuses on advanced machine learning research and its application in production AI systems, addressing key challenges in model learning, alignment, and architectural efficiency.

What you'll do

• Investigate and address open research questions related to AI model learning and efficiency.
• Collaborate with research engineering and model performance teams to implement findings into production systems.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in machine learning or a related field, with a strong publication record in reputable conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, or ICLR.
• Proven ability to develop significant research questions, design experiments, and analyze results at scale.
• Experience in transitioning theoretical concepts into practical applications, with a focus on empirical validation.
• Knowledge across various machine learning domains, including reinforcement learning, interpretability, model architecture, and training methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills to identify impactful research questions that can transform AI system training and deployment.
• Interest in fast-paced research cycles that directly influence product development and customer needs.
• Contributions to the ML community through open-source projects or research publications are advantageous.
