SMB Account Manager at Greenhouse
About the role
This position involves managing client relationships to ensure their success with our product. You will be responsible for renewals, driving product adoption, and identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Oversee a large volume of customer accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and support.
- Create strategic plans for each account to uncover potential for expansion and upsells.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of forecasted renewals and expansions to meet sales targets.
- Become a trusted advisor to key contacts and executive sponsors within your assigned accounts.
- Proactively identify accounts at risk of churn and develop strategies to retain them, escalating to sales leadership when necessary.
- Contribute to the improvement of internal operational processes.
- Undertake additional projects as required by business needs.
Requirements
- Experience in a quota-carrying, customer-facing role such as Sales Development Representative, Customer Success Manager, or Account Manager.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing time and processes effectively.
- Experience with pipeline management and familiarity with Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational structures and identify key decision-makers for SaaS purchases.

- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
- Base pay range: $71,400.00 annually. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
- Potential for additional compensation including stock options, bonuses, merit increases, and sales commissions.
