About the role
Greenhouse is seeking an FP&A Manager to support our Marketing organization. This role will be central to financial planning, analysis, and strategic guidance, aiding in investments for scalable growth and the company's transition to an AI-first approach. You will contribute to shaping the financial direction during a key growth phase.

What you'll do
- Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities for the Marketing department.
- Act as the main financial advisor to Marketing leaders, helping them optimize spending and assess the success of growth strategies across brand, demand generation, and product marketing.
- Oversee the entire Marketing budget, including monthly closing support, analysis of budget variances, and all planning and forecasting tasks.
- Prepare financial materials for board meetings, quarterly business reviews, and leadership discussions.
- Build and maintain financial models to monitor Marketing expenditure effectiveness and evaluate investments, staffing, and project returns.
- Work with Marketing Operations to create integrated models connecting top-of-funnel metrics and pipeline data to revenue outcomes.
- Coordinate with Revenue Operations and Accounting to ensure consistency between top-of-funnel metrics, pipeline projections, and the financial close.
- Collaborate with broader FP&A and Go-to-Market teams across Sales, Marketing, and Product.
- Utilize AI tools to automate routine tasks, reduce manual reconciliation for FP&A and Marketing teams, and free up capacity for more in-depth business analysis.
- Undertake additional projects as business needs evolve.
Requirements
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or Corporate Finance, with prior experience in a fast-paced SaaS or technology company.
- Substantial experience in a business partnering capacity, ideally as a dedicated finance partner to Marketing leadership in software or cloud-based businesses.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with expertise in forecasting, financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis, and the ability to link marketing performance to financial decisions and business results.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of explaining financial information clearly and providing actionable recommendations to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Experience using AI tools to automate FP&A workflows.
Nice to have
- Experience with FP&A software such as Adaptive or NetSuite.
- Familiarity with marketing planning tools like Allocadia or Uptempo.

Practical notes
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.
- The salary range for this position is $116,900 to $149,000 annually, with final compensation determined by candidate experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include stock options, bonuses, merit increases, and potential sales commissions.
