About the role
You will join the Corporate Development and Analytics department to shape data strategy and build sophisticated data products. This role acts as a bridge between technical product output and executive-level decision making to influence long-term roadmaps.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Present technical findings to executive leadership to guide long-term strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to address user pain points through data science.
- Perform statistical deep dives to identify factors influencing customer retention and product adoption.
- Develop and maintain production-quality code using Python or SQL for automated pipelines and predictive models.
- Write optimized SQL queries to extract and transform data from cloud warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Implement software engineering standards including Git version control, code reviews, and orchestration tools.
- Mentor distributed analysts on advanced statistical modeling techniques.
- Drive data-first product design by ensuring telemetry and event tracking are integrated into the feature development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience as a data scientist, analytics engineer, or product data analyst.
- Experience working within a B2B business model.
- Proven ability to build scalable analytical frameworks and automated reporting suites.
- Demonstrated success in translating product data into insights that influence executive roadmaps.
- Expertise in writing complex SQL queries.
- Proficiency in Python or SQL for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Experience with Git and orchestration tools.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Product teams.

Practical notes
- Compensation: $105,800 - $132,300 CAD.
- Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Sponsorship is not available.
