What you'll do

• Execute engineering assignments using frontier AI coding agents.
• Audit code produced by models for accuracy, structural integrity, and performance.
• Detect errors, unusual edge cases, and specific failure patterns in generated output.
• Analyze and contrast results from various AI models to determine relative performance.
• Apply your technical background to judge backend engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Background in developing APIs, microservices, databases, distributed systems, or backend platforms.
• Frequent use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, or Gemini CLI.
• Proficiency in reviewing code to spot bugs and architectural limitations.

Nice to have

• Experience maintaining large-scale production systems.

Practical notes
