Compliance Manager - Global Lab Environment
Job description
About the role
Graphcore is looking for a Compliance Manager to build and manage security frameworks for our international laboratory sites. You will protect sensitive hardware and engineering data by overseeing access protocols, asset tracking, and infrastructure segmentation. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary owner for designing and enforcing physical security policies across distributed lab environments. The role requires you to establish robust procedures that safeguard critical assets while enabling efficient engineering workflows. You will be responsible for translating complex security requirements into actionable controls for technical teams. This position demands a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing scalable compliance initiatives. You will partner closely with infrastructure and engineering groups to ensure security practices are integrated into daily operations. Ultimately, this role will drive the maturity and consistency of our global lab security posture.

- Demonstrated ability to work within regulated and high-security environments, adhering to strict compliance expectations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing security records, ensuring integrity and completeness of data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with technical stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Commitment to following established policies and procedures consistently, upholding governance and regulatory obligations.
- Willingness to learn and apply new security tools and methodologies as the organization scales its capabilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with export-controlled environments and awareness of compliance obligations related to technology transfer.
- Background in semiconductor, HPC, AI, or hardware validation labs, with familiarity with specialized workflows and security needs.
- Familiarity with rack-level infrastructure and out-of-band (OOB) or BMC networks for secure management and monitoring.
