Grafana Labs is seeking a Senior Finance Analytics Manager to establish and lead its Corporate Finance Analytics function. This individual contributor role involves defining reporting standards and analytical frameworks to support data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, remote environment. You will provide insights into key operating metrics and help build a robust data and financial analytics practice.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with data teams to build and refine corporate data architecture, developing models for company-wide performance metrics.
• Create and maintain production-quality dashboards and data products for real-time monitoring of key operating metrics.
• Develop advanced analytical models to understand customer behavior and market trends, connecting operational activities to financial results.
• Translate complex data and analyses into clear, actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Lead projects to develop datasets, providing documentation and training for finance and business teams to access data independently.
• Ensure data integrity by managing ad-hoc analysis requests and providing quality assurance for core financial data.

Requirements

• 5 or more years of experience in corporate analytics, financial analytics, data science, or a similar quantitative field.
• 5 or more years of hands-on SQL experience, writing complex queries for data mining and production-ready data models.
• 3 or more years of experience building user-focused dashboards with tools like Looker, Tableau, Mode, or Sisense.
• Practical experience with data model development, ETL processes, and modern data warehouses such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with enterprise systems and data structures, specifically NetSuite and Salesforce.
• Strong communication skills, with a history of explaining complex analysis to senior management.
• Solid critical reasoning and financial modeling skills, understanding SaaS metrics (ARR, NDR, retention) and linking operational trends to financial outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-growth SaaS, cloud, or open-source company, especially in a public company or pre-IPO setting.
• Success working in globally distributed, remote organizations across multiple time zones.
• Experience documenting datasets and optimizing tools for Model Context Protocol (MCP) server ingestion, or building AI skills for automated, LLM-driven internal data discovery.

Practical notes

Compensation includes Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Grafana Labs is a 100% remote company with a global team. Benefits include 30 days of annual leave, with 3 days reserved for company-wide shutdown. In-person onboarding is provided for new team members.
