Staff AI Product Analyst, Product Management | Sweden | Remote at Grafana Labs.

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Product Analyst to join our Product Analytics team and act as a primary strategic partner for our AI organization. You will guide the measurement and evaluation of our AI-powered features, including Grafana Assistant, Investigations, and Agent Observability, while helping to shape our long-term product analytics strategy.

What you'll do

Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to establish core KPIs, dashboards, and roadmap planning.
Define success metrics for AI features, focusing on engagement, quality, adoption, retention, and user outcomes.
Oversee product data instrumentation to ensure reliable analysis of AI workflows.
Design and interpret experiments to evaluate the impact of new AI capabilities.
Develop and test dbt models for user behavior data in partnership with Analytics Engineering.
Establish and influence product analytics standards and best practices across the company.

Requirements

Proven experience partnering with product and engineering teams using standard KPIs like DAU/MAU, funnels, and A/B testing.
Background in defining success metrics for complex products, specifically AI-driven features.
Advanced SQL proficiency for daily data tasks.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Grafana, Tableau, Looker, Omni, or Hex.
Proficiency in dbt, code version control (git), and product analytics tools like Amplitude, Heap, Pendo, or FullStory.
Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor or Claude Code for prototyping and data modeling.
Strong communication skills to translate technical insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

Knowledge of observability.
Familiarity with Airflow or Prefect for generating ad hoc ETL jobs.

Practical notes

Base compensation range in Sweden is SEK 775,444 - 930,533, plus equity and bonus.
Benefits include 30 days of annual leave, including 3 company-wide shutdown days.
Compensation for other locations will be discussed by the recruiter.
The company is 100% remote with an in-person onboarding process.
