Lead AI Analytics Engineer at Grab.
About the role
You will design the middleware architecture that connects Grab's Trust and Safety logic to our real-time Risk Engine. This role focuses on building autonomous agentic workflows to replace manual data analysis in fraud and identity protection.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and manage data pipelines for AI, including vector databases, embedding generation, and unstructured data parsing.
- Deploy and maintain multi-agent systems using frameworks like LangChain, LangSmith, and LangGraph.
- Create automated code-level intercepts to prevent destructive AI-generated rules from reaching production.
- Develop secure API wrappers and Model Context Protocol servers for safe agent interaction with the Risk Engine.
- Manage system stability, latency, and token-cost efficiency for internal agent platforms.
- Work with Data Analysts to convert Trust and Safety domain knowledge into machine-readable formats.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in backend engineering, data-heavy systems, or applied machine learning.
- Bachelor degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python, backend architecture, and secure API development.
- Knowledge of data engineering, including ETL, vectorization, and data pipelines.
- Practical experience deploying and orchestrating LLMs with LangSmith and LangGraph.

- Experience migrating legacy systems into modern AI infrastructure.
- Background in Fraud or Trust and Safety domains.
