Associate, Fleet Operations

About the role

This position supports the GrabRentals autonomous vehicle business by managing daily site activities and team performance. You will be based at the Punggol depot, serving as the bridge between field operations and engineering teams to ensure mission readiness and safety.

What you'll do

• Supervise site coordinators, safety drivers, and field operators to ensure safe daily execution.
• Handle staff scheduling, shift assignments, and timekeeping while assisting with onboarding and training.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by coordinating charging, parking, and staging tasks.
• Act as the primary point of contact between field staff and product or engineering departments to relay operational feedback.
• Monitor and report on KPIs related to safety and vehicle uptime.
• Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures for depot activities and incident response.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fleet management, transport, mobility, or depot operations.
• Technical familiarity with robotics, IoT, or autonomous vehicle systems.
• Proven ability to manage shift-based teams and coordinate complex daily schedules.
• Strong focus on safety compliance and the ability to enforce strict operational protocols.
• Ability to remain calm and effective when managing incidents or urgent disruptions.
• Comfortable analyzing operational data to identify trends and performance issues.
• Willingness to work on-site at the Punggol depot and support shift-based schedules.
