About the role

You will build and maintain large-scale systems that support Google products used by billions of people. This role focuses on the technical infrastructure that powers our global services, requiring versatile engineers who can solve complex problems across the full stack.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain production-grade code for systems and products.
• Lead or participate in design reviews to select appropriate technologies.
• Evaluate peer code to maintain standards for accuracy, testability, and efficiency.
• Create and update technical documentation based on product changes and user input.
• Identify, track, and resolve system issues affecting hardware, network, or service performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice to have

• Master degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with algorithms and data structures.
• Background in building accessible technologies.
