In this position, you will play a crucial role in optimizing advertising strategies through data analysis. You will collaborate with various teams to tackle complex business challenges and enhance the efficiency of our advertising platform.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Work with stakeholders to clarify and define business questions, translating them into actionable analyses and models.
- Utilize custom and existing data frameworks to design and assess mathematical models that address specific problems.
- Collect and understand business objectives and data infrastructure to inform your analyses.
- Manage the extraction and preparation of data from multiple sources using tools like SQL, R, and Python, ensuring data quality for analysis.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience applying analytics to resolve product or business challenges, including coding in languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and conducting statistical analysis. Alternatively, 3 years of experience with a PhD in a related field.
Preferred qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in analytics for product or business problem-solving, with proficiency in coding (Python, R, SQL), database querying, and statistical analysis, or 6 years of experience with a PhD.
Skills & tools
- Proficiency in SQL, R, and Python.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and data evaluation.
Practical notes
- Salary range for this position is between $174,000 and $252,000 annually, plus a target bonus of 15%, equity options, and comprehensive benefits.
