In this position, you will play a crucial role within the Responsible Media Solutions team, focusing on enhancing Google AI's capabilities for advertisers. Your efforts will help establish effective safety, quality, and sustainability strategies that support our advertising business.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead both tactical and strategic initiatives for YouTube, implementing responsible frameworks and facilitating product launches in emerging business areas.
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Industry Relations, Policy, and PR teams to create feedback loops, converting customer insights and industry trends into actionable strategies.
- Work alongside Strategy and Operations to set, track, and report on key responsibility metrics for YouTube, translating overarching goals into structured investigative processes.
- Develop rapid-response strategies and manage crisis communications, ensuring swift alignment among cross-functional teams to address reputational risks during critical events.
- Convert complex frameworks related to responsible AI, risk management, and policy adherence into market differentiators and programs that drive business value.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management within a technology context.
- Proven experience collaborating with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leaders, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies and manage cross-functional projects.
- Familiarity with digital advertising solutions, including Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic, and performance marketing.
Nice to have
- An MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in managing complex operational issues and implementing process improvements in a global setting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other tools for data analysis and visualization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying intricate technical and operational concepts to diverse audiences.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with a talent for influencing and driving change across various organizational levels.
Skills & tools
- Knowledge of digital advertising and product management tools.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization software.
Practical notes
- Salary range is between $124,000 and $178,000 (USD) plus a target bonus of 15% and equity options, along with comprehensive benefits.
