Senior Program Manager - Finance Transformation & Strategic Programs

About the role

This position manages the Finance portfolio and leads cross-functional operations programs from initial strategy through final execution. You will redesign end-to-end workflows and align senior stakeholders to deliver improvements across processes, data, systems, and company policy.

Key facts

What you'll do

• Direct Finance transformation initiatives including Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Payroll, tax, cash management, and accounting.
• Partner with Finance, Accounting, Tax, People, Legal, Procurement, Product, and Engineering to build future operating models.
• Facilitate workshops to refine policies, controls, and organizational structures.
• Oversee project lifecycles, including current-state analysis, governance, and value measurement.
• Manage the Finance transformation portfolio, ensuring technology and AI solutions align with business objectives.
• Drive change management, communication, and user adoption efforts.
• Use AI, automation, and analytics to improve decision-making and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in cross-functional transformation initiatives within Finance, Accounting, Tax, Revenue, People Operations, or Shared Services.
• Background in management consulting, advisory, or Big 4 firms.
• Proven track record of managing enterprise-level operating model redesigns and organizational change.
• Familiarity with end-to-end processes like Payroll, Equity, Treasury, and Financial Planning & Analysis.
• Experience leading executive-level workshops and strategy discussions.
• Hands-on experience with Workday, Vertex, Jira, and various workflow automation or analytics tools.
• Strong ability to influence senior leadership and build alignment across complex organizations.

Nice to have

• MBA or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or Organizational Development.
• Experience in a technology or digital-first company.
• Knowledge of design thinking, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled processes, Copilot technologies, or agent-based solutions.
• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or Prosci.
