About the role

GoDaddy is looking for a legal professional to join our Marketing Legal team to support international outbound messaging and performance marketing. You will provide practical legal guidance to help our business teams grow while managing risk across global campaigns and customer-facing initiatives.

What you'll do

• Provide legal support for global marketing campaigns, offers, and customer experiences.
• Review outbound communications including email, SMS, phone, and push notifications.
• Analyze legal requirements for new territories regarding consent, disclosures, and data recordkeeping.
• Advise on ad tech initiatives, audience targeting, and data usage.
• Partner with performance marketing teams on paid social, search, display, and lead generation.
• Review creative assets, campaign copy, pricing claims, and offer terms.
• Draft and negotiate marketing-related agreements such as influencer, agency, and vendor contracts.
• Create training materials and provide mentorship to business partners.
• Build scalable processes, templates, and workflows to improve legal intake and consistency.
• Identify recurring bottlenecks and implement solutions to support faster business execution.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant legal experience in areas such as advertising, marketing, consumer communications, or e-commerce.
• Legal degree or equivalent qualification in India.
• Ability to assess risk and provide practical, business-oriented advice.
• Experience building legal systems, playbooks, and processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with common law, U.S., U.K., or other global legal systems.
