Temporary Key Lead, Soho

About the role

Glossier is looking for a temporary leader to join our Soho retail team to help maintain our unique brand environment. You will support store operations and staff development while ensuring every customer interaction reflects our core values. This role requires a hands-on approach to both front-of-house and back-of-house management.

What you'll do

• Act as a floor leader to support staff and handle customer inquiries or service recovery.
• Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead team huddles to communicate business goals, brand updates, and operational news.
• Oversee shift scheduling for breaks and maintain accurate Editor Zone Charts.
• Uphold visual merchandising and cleanliness standards throughout the store.
• Assist leadership in fostering an inclusive, equitable, and positive workplace culture.
• Monitor business KPIs and share insights with the team to drive performance.
• Coordinate with the store leadership team on vendor requests and local community networking.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within retail, hospitality, or customer service.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and engage teams in a high-volume setting.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on providing clear, structured feedback.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and evenings.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, harassment-free, and inclusive work environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and remain active on the sales floor for the duration of a shift.
