About the role
Glossier is seeking a creative leader to define the visual and narrative direction of our brand across all consumer touchpoints. You will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and manage a team tasked with maintaining our identity while evolving our presence in the lifestyle space. This role requires a balance of high-level artistic vision and operational management to ensure our creative output remains distinct and emotionally resonant.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Establish and refine the overarching creative strategy for all brand channels, including digital, social, retail, and experiential.
- Oversee the end-to-end production of 360-degree campaigns, from initial concept to final execution.
- Build and maintain scalable creative systems, toolkits, and guidelines to ensure global consistency.
- Direct creative output across photography, video, design, copy, and visual merchandising.
- Partner with Product and Marketing teams to develop compelling storytelling for new launches.
- Lead and mentor a creative team, providing clear direction while fostering an environment of trust and accountability.
- Evolve our retail experience by designing immersive, physical brand environments.
- Refine internal workflows to improve speed and quality without sacrificing creative integrity.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in creative roles within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
- 4+ years of experience in a senior creative leadership capacity.
- Proven ability to lead and stabilize teams through periods of organizational change.
- Demonstrated success in developing breakthrough creative work that drives brand equity.
- Experience managing multi-channel creative projects across digital and physical spaces.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing and Product departments.
- Ability to translate cultural insights into tangible, on-brand creative concepts.
- Deep understanding of the Glossier community and brand identity.
