About the role

GetYourGuide is hiring a player-coach to oversee recruitment for our Data and Product departments. You will balance hands-on hiring for critical roles with the management of a four-person team, reporting to the Senior Technical Recruitment Lead.

What you'll do

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 4 recruiters.
• Collaborate with Data and Product leadership to establish hiring goals and maintain quality standards.
• Define the strategic direction for the vertical regarding sourcing channels and hiring processes.
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics like pipeline conversion and time-to-hire to inform decision-making.
• Execute full-cycle recruiting for senior, niche, or high-priority positions.
• Work with Talent Ops to scale hiring operations and improve existing workflows.
• Maintain a high standard for candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6+ years of technical recruiting experience within high-growth, fast-paced tech companies.
• Demonstrated success in closing Staff level, senior leadership, or niche technical hires.
• 1-2+ years of experience managing and retaining talent.
• Proficiency in using data to influence strategy and operations.
• Experience building and scaling sourcing channels, such as referral programs, events, or CRM systems.
• Ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders.
• Experience refining and improving recruitment processes rather than just executing existing ones.
• Ability to manage shifting priorities in an ambiguous environment.
• Interest in AI with a focus on experimenting with tools to improve daily work.
