About the role
Fuel Cycle is looking for an Account Director to manage and expand a portfolio of market research clients. You will serve as a strategic advisor, driving revenue growth while ensuring high-level client satisfaction and project success.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage a specific book of business to meet and exceed revenue, retention, and profitability goals.
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
- Provide strategic guidance on research design, business objectives, and project execution.
- Lead internal cross-functional teams across Research Excellence, Product, and Marketing to deliver client solutions.
- Oversee contract negotiations and proposal development.
- Present research findings and strategic recommendations to senior client stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate account records and activity tracking within the internal technology stack.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in Account Management or Client Services within SaaS, digital marketing, or market research.
- Proven track record of managing and growing an account portfolio of approximately $1M.
- Experience navigating complex organizational structures and building relationships with stakeholders in departments such as Insights, Marketing, UX, and CX.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage end-to-end project delivery.
- Proficiency in SaaS platforms and data analytics tools.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for client meetings and industry events.

- 5 years of experience working on the supplier side.
- Deep expertise in market research methodologies and project management.
