About the role
Fubo is seeking a Senior Vice President, Controller to lead its global accounting operations. This role involves overseeing financial reporting, internal controls, and general ledger activities for a publicly traded company. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance and drive efficiency within the finance department.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Prepare and file SEC reports, such as 10-K and 10-Q, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting (SOX compliance).
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
- Oversee technical accounting research and implementation of new accounting standards.
- Lead and mentor the global accounting team across different regions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and manage the audit process.
- Support M&A activities and integration of acquired entities.
- Partner with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- 7+ years of experience in a leadership role.
- Public company experience, including SEC reporting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification.
