Senior Solution Engineer

About the role

Freshworks is looking for a Senior Solution Engineer to guide pre-sales operations and align technical resources with revenue targets in Bengaluru. You will act as a strategic partner to sales management, ensuring that technical teams effectively support customer needs and business objectives.

What you'll do

• Lead pre-sales resource management and activities within your assigned region.
• Partner with sales leadership to optimize organizational efficiency and technical resource deployment.
• Coordinate with support, sales, and implementation departments to maintain operational alignment.
• Manage pre-sales documentation and qualify sales opportunities based on competition and technical specifications.
• Address business challenges for SMB and mid-market clients through discovery calls and product demonstrations.
• Gather user requirements, perform analysis, define project scope, and create wireframes.
• Develop and present Proof of Concept materials and respond to RFI or RFP requests.
• Communicate the value of Freshworks products to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in Solution Engineering or a related technical role.
• Background in technology sales with a focus on both business and technical applications.
• Experience managing operations and implementing best practices across cross-functional, multi-office teams.
• Expertise in supporting mid-market clients and developing service or support strategies.
• Ability to influence and work effectively within matrixed organizations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility to work in any shift.
