Freshpaint is building the privacy infrastructure for healthcare's digital future. We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist to ensure our internal systems and employee productivity remain high. This role is crucial for maintaining smooth operations and supporting our growing team.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Manage the complete lifecycle of employee IT assets, from setup to secure offboarding.
- Provide timely and effective technical support to employees, resolving hardware, software, and access issues.
- Administer user accounts and permissions across various company tools, adhering to security best practices.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of IT processes and documentation.
- Assist with operational tasks related to security and compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an IT support, IT operations, or similar internal technical role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes for devices and software.
- Familiarity with endpoint management, device deployment, software installation, and basic security practices.
- Experience with administering common internal business tools, including identity management and collaboration platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills for laptop, software, access, and account-related challenges.
- Excellent judgment in handling access requests and determining when to escalate issues.
- Clear communication abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on service.
- Organized approach to managing recurring tasks with accuracy and reliability.
- Experience with Google Workspace and device management systems.
- Experience supporting Mac-based environments.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting security or compliance operations, such as audit evidence gathering or customer questionnaires.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS company.
- Familiarity with tools like Drata, Iru, identity providers, or similar IT and compliance platforms.
- Experience in enhancing internal documentation or operational workflows.
- Basic scripting or automation skills using languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or infrastructure tools like Terraform.
