Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in timber cruising or a similar role within the forestry industry.
- Proficiency in using forestry tools and equipment, including compasses, clinometers, and GPS devices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings to team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with forest management software and data analysis tools is an asset.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various field locations as required.
- Knowledge of local forestry regulations and environmental policies is a plus.
