What you'll do

• Design and execute comprehensive people and culture strategies that align with Bamboohr's mission and business objectives.
• Lead the recruitment process by developing job descriptions, conducting interviews, and collaborating with hiring managers to attract top talent.
• Implement onboarding programs that ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company culture and equipped for success from day one.
• Develop and manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback sessions, and team-building activities to enhance workplace morale.
• Oversee performance management processes, providing guidance to managers on conducting evaluations and setting development goals for employees.
• Facilitate training and development programs that support employee growth and career advancement, ensuring that staff have access to the resources they need.
• Advise on employee relations matters, addressing any concerns or conflicts that arise and promoting a harmonious workplace environment.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring that Bamboohr maintains best practices in HR policies and procedures.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or people and culture management, preferably in a creative or technology-driven environment.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive employee engagement and organizational success.
• Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to Australia, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Experience in talent acquisition and onboarding processes, with a focus on creating a positive candidate experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in HR software and tools, with a strong aptitude for data analysis and reporting.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to navigate complex situations and provide sound advice.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
