Key facts
What you'll do
- Lead the product strategy for the team's ontology and data products that support compute production, including defining the roadmap, setting priorities, and establishing success metrics.
- Transform complex compute production areas into clear data models, specifications, and product interfaces that enable engineers to work efficiently without needing further clarification.
- Collaborate with engineers to navigate technical decisions and oversee the entire product lifecycle, from identifying problems to delivering solutions.
- Conduct direct discovery sessions with compute production stakeholders to gain insights into their operations and validate the effectiveness of the solutions developed.
- Establish and monitor metrics that demonstrate the product's effectiveness and make adjustments to projects that do not deliver value.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical product management, preferably with a focus on data, platform, or ontology products.
- Proven ability to deliver products that have a measurable impact, supported by relevant data.
- Proficient in system design concepts and capable of engaging in technical discussions with engineers regarding trade-offs.
- Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to create clear specifications and articulate prioritization decisions that resonate with stakeholders, even those who may disagree.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and skilled at creating structured frameworks in undefined operational areas, enabling others to build upon them.
- Preferred: Familiarity with compute or data center operations, infrastructure systems, or experience in developing applications powered by large language models.
Skills & tools
- Experience with product management tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with data modeling and operational workflow optimization.
- Strong analytical skills to assess product performance and stakeholder needs.
