About the role
You will build custom integrations and automated workflows to help our customs clients onboard efficiently. This role involves working with business development and operations teams to convert requirements into technical solutions for our most complex accounts.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready integrations and automations.
- Translate business needs from Customs BD and operations teams into technical specifications.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your tools, including monitoring, iteration, and performance tracking.
- Create documentation to ensure your solutions are maintainable and accessible to the broader team.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in software development, automation, or integration work within data-heavy environments.
- Proficiency in Python or JavaScript for business logic, data transformation, and dynamic queries.
- Advanced SQL skills.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Git-based version control, such as GitHub.
- A compliance-focused mindset suitable for a heavily regulated industry.
Nice to have
- Experience with GraphQL.
- Proficiency with low-code or workflow platforms like Retool or n8n.
- Exposure to EDI or other integration standards.
