[Remote] Product Manager

About the role

FlexBoard is looking for a Product Manager to lead the definition and rollout of our capital project management software. You will bridge the gap between internal departments, external vendors, and contractors to ensure our platform effectively addresses core business and user requirements.

What you'll do

• Build and communicate a unified product vision that helps teams improve their project management workflows.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal groups like Finance and Network, as well as external partners and contractors.
• Create and maintain the product roadmap, balancing user needs, business goals, and delivery timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams through the full execution cycle to manage releases.
• Negotiate with vendors to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage the feature backlog by making data-driven trade-offs based on process design.
• Work with internal teams and vendors to write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Track performance metrics to evaluate product success and adjust strategies as needed.
• Promote product updates to stakeholders and assist the user support team in creating training documentation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in product definition, launch, and ongoing management of software solutions.
• Ability to manage and negotiate with third-party vendors.
• Experience prioritizing feature backlogs and defining user stories.
• Strong communication skills for evangelizing product benefits to diverse stakeholder groups.
