DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure at FlexBoard.
About the role
FlexBoard is looking for a DevOps Engineer to manage infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production environments. You will work closely with engineering teams to automate deployments, maintain cloud systems, and ensure the reliability of our software platforms.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, including EKS, Fargate, API Gateway, WAF, IAM, CloudWatch, and OpenSearch.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps using shared templates and multi-environment rollout patterns.
- Lead infrastructure delivery for AI initiatives, focusing on Day-1 deployment and production readiness.
- Partner with architecture teams to implement observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
- Manage cross-repo releases, including Terraform applies, service deployments, and stakeholder communication.
- Resolve production and non-production issues using Kubernetes CLI, NewRelic, and infrastructure state analysis.
- Define operational readiness standards, including rollback planning, monitoring, and incident response playbooks.
- Implement security controls, such as IAM least-privilege design and supply-chain risk reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or software engineering role.
- Experience supporting production systems within AWS.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for reliable deployments.
- Experience with C# / .NET, including ASP.NET backend services.
- Experience with containers and orchestration, specifically Docker, ECR, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Strong understanding of Git, CI/CD, and release automation.
- Familiarity with software engineering practices like test-driven design and service-oriented architecture.
- Ability to work with various operating systems, including Windows Server and Linux.
Nice to have
- Experience with GitOps deployment using Argo CD.
- Knowledge of React and TypeScript for web applications.
- Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.

- Salary range: $100,000 to $122,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and skills.
