About the role
Fleetio seeks a proactive Senior Software Engineer for its Growth Engineering team. This position is for someone who enjoys data analysis, has a strong sense of user experience, and thrives in collaborative environments. You will focus on identifying and implementing strategies to enhance user success through personalized onboarding.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Operations to design and build features that boost user adoption of Fleetio.
- Develop user experiences within the application and conduct experiments to improve engagement for trial users.
- Create systems for tailored user onboarding during the trial period and enhance existing features to increase usage and reduce customer attrition.
- Contribute to defining the direction of the Growth Engineering team and the product experience.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
- At least 2 years of experience working with ReactJS and Typescript.
- Prior experience in a Growth Engineering role.
- Demonstrated experience building full-stack web applications and features.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and relational databases, including PostgreSQL.
- Previous experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Nice to have
- Experience with user monitoring and analytics tools.
- Previous project work involving TailwindCSS.
- Familiarity with the fleet management industry.
