About the role

Fivetran is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join the team in Bangalore. You will produce high-quality documentation that helps users navigate our data movement platform and its various integrations.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain technical documentation for our data movement platform and associated features.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear user guides.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with our standards for accuracy, clarity, and accessibility.
• Manage the documentation lifecycle for new product launches and feature updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical writing within a software or data-focused company.
• Ability to explain complex technical workflows to a variety of user personas.
• Strong proficiency in written English.
• Experience working with developers and technical stakeholders to gather information.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data infrastructure, ETL processes, or cloud data warehousing.
• Experience using documentation-as-code workflows or static site generators.
