Customer Sales Director

About the role

Fivetran is looking for a Customer Sales Director to lead revenue growth and client retention efforts. You will manage high-level relationships and drive the adoption of our automated data movement platform across a diverse client base.

What you'll do

• Lead sales strategies to expand our footprint within existing accounts.
• Oversee the full sales cycle for enterprise clients, from initial outreach to contract finalization.
• Partner with internal technical teams to demonstrate how our platform supports data democratization and AI readiness.
• Manage complex negotiations and align our data movement solutions with client business goals.
• Monitor account health and identify opportunities for upsells or service expansions.

Requirements

• Proven track record in enterprise software sales, specifically within the data infrastructure or SaaS space.
• Experience managing high-value accounts and navigating large organizational structures.
• Ability to articulate the value of automated data pipelines and cloud-based analytics.
• Strong understanding of the modern data stack, including data warehouses and transformation tools.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Background in selling to data engineering or IT leadership teams.
