What you'll do

• Develop and maintain backend services for the Five9 cloud contact center.
• Design and implement new features and improvements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineers to define technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Java and Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
